Christmas 2010

Our Christmas this year!!!

We started out by starting a new tradition by having a fun family only filled night! It started with a Christmas Dinner, then off to make Santa's Cookies and Reindeer Food, then we opened our Christmas Jammies, and watched a Movie (Shrek Forever After), then after the movie we read the poem "Twas the Night Before Christmas" and the Christmas Story of Christ! We then sent them off to bed, and they were really excited for a visit from Santa!!!
Christmas Morning kids woke up around 7:45 am, and we proceeded to open gifts, then off to the farm for some more Christmas fun that consisted of Presents and Lunch!
Thanks everyone for helping us have a fun Christmas!!!

(When looking through the pictures, click on the pictures to get a closer look) I will post more pictures on my Facebook!

BLACK FRIDAY

Yes Yes!!! I am a HUGE Black Friday fan! I love to stay up late and never go to bed, just so I can join crazy people all trying to get the same thing, when there is not enough to go around! I freeze my BUTT off doing these crazy things, but guess what I will do again next year, and the year after that and so on! This year my two buddies and I started planning our attack at 8 pm left my house at 11 pm, just so we can be prepared for the 12:01 am sale at Walmart! After the craziness at Walmart, we had a Marvick potty/Hot Chocolate break, then off to Target to stand in line OUTSIDE in teen temperatures for an hour and a half. Door opened at Target at 4 am then off to Fred Meyer @ 5am, JC Penny, and Office Max, then Bed Bath and Beyond! We ended up home around 8 am, cold, tired, and bags full of good deals! It took all of us about 2-3 days to recoup from this operation, but it was totally worth it. I had a blast with my friends Krissy and Shera, thanks girls for attending this years BLACK FRIDAY with me! Here's to a crazy next year! The picture below is the three of us standing in the cold line waiting for Target to open.

Happy Thanksgiving!!!

I know this is also a little late, but oh well! Us, (The Jordans) would like to wish everyone a very Happy Thanksgiving! We are soooo Thankful for each and Everyone of you! Glenn and I are soooo blessed with how good, healthy and Beautiful our Children are. We are also blessed with all the wonderful loved ones that share our lives with us. We hope that Everyone had a very Happy Thanksgiving, and that you remember to be Thankful for everything the Lord has blessed you with. Much Love and Thanks - The Jordan's (Glenn, Camie, Tridon, Dallas, Case, and Avery)

Tridon got his Bear in Scouts!

Tridon received his Bear is Scouts a couple of weeks ago, I know I know, I should have posted it then, but I have been a busy girl!!!
We are so proud of him and he is working hard towards his Eagle, he still has a couple of years before that, but he has good start on getting all thee other Advancements!
Oh, and guess what!!! I jinks myself... the night he got his Bear, I was watching all the craziness of these scouts running around crazy like, and I turned to one of the Den Leaders, and I said, "I don't know how you do this", she said "You better watch out, you'll be called". Sure enough a week and half later I received a new calling as the Bear Den Leader! YAY for me, (I think)!!! Well needless to say I really am excited, but nervous also. I just have to keep saying to myself, "The Lord will not give me something I can't handle" and I also am excited, because I get to hang out with just Tridon until he advances up to a Webleo in May! Check out his pictures of him getting his Bear below!

Halloween 2010

Wow what an October... we have had a super duper busy month full of season ending sports, and of course Halloween fun! We did so much things for Halloween this year which included Trick or Treating 4 times, yes that's right I said 4 times!!! We went to our ward Trunk of Treat on Thursday, then I decided to take them to the downtown Nampa Trick or Treating Friday after school, that's were Avery got her picture taken for the paper, then our Subdivision was suppose to trick or treat on Sat, so we went out on the Saturday, and got doors slammed on my daughters face, I was sooooo mad, so we decided that we would go to a few house on Sunday evening! Other then all the Trick or Treating, we carved pumpkins, and went to the Haunted Woods with ALL of the kids!!! That's right I said ALL OF THE KIDS, and it was a blast, I was a little scared at first about taking Avery and Case, but they did better then Dallas and Tridon, LOL!!! Avery and Case would nervously say Hi and Bye to all of the "monsters". Also, the employees were really good with the kids, and didn't get up in their faces and scare them, they would show and make sure that the kids knew they were real people like them, it was really nice of them, over all a great and fun experience that will be remembered for a long time! When looking at the pictures below you may wonder what and why the kids are so many different things for Halloween, well last year after Halloween I went to Wal-Mart and got their clearance costumes for a dollar, so I didn't spend one thing on their costumes this year, but a couple of the kids got to be at least 2 different things... Tridon was my easiest - he was a Football player, it was easy we already had his stuff (we did need to borrow some pads, because he had to turn his in at the end of season), but all in all it was easy and done. Dallas wanted to be Bumblebee off of Transformers, and Case wanted to me Optimist Prime, and I already had those costumes from the clearance sale from last year, but with that sale I got a pirate and skeleton costumes too, so Dallas was not only Bumblebee he was a pirate also, and Case was Optimist, Skeleton, and a Pirate, and my dear sweet Avery was a Pirate for 2 nights and then she wore her Witch costume that Aunt Christy bought her at a yard sale for a dollar. So we had easy, cheap and fun costumes this year, and the kids thought it was cool to be more then one thing! We hope that you all had a blast this Halloween and will have fun rest of the year!

Avery's 3rd Birthday

K so I know it's taken me a while, but I have been a really busy girl!!!
My Baby turned 3 this August, and it's kinda bitter sweet! She is getting so big and growing so fast, that is makes me sad that this is that last time that we celebrate a 3rd birthday in our home, but it's also great to see our children grow, their healthy and full of fun!
Avery brings some much different personality into our lives, she if very much my child, (I suppose that is why we butt heads), she has my attitude and both Glenn and I's Stubborn side. She is silly and loves to play with her brothers. She knows that she can go to Tridon and get what she wants, HEHE!!! Tridon protects her, Dallas plays with her and Case teases/torments her, but when it comes down to it she is the center of their world and she knows it!!! She has Daddy wrapped around her finger, (kinda, Glenn still doesn't let her get away with things) and she is my little shopping buddy, (she is already stealing my shoes, and getting into my make-up)!!! We really have loved having Avery apart of our lives and we don't know what life would be like without her fun personality! We love you beautiful and hope you had a HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! The first day we made our way up to the Marcum Family Reunion and spent the night in Island Park, ID. then we went through Yellowstone to Jackson Hole, WY, and we hung out there for 2 days. After that we made our way down to Soda Springs were my Dad was raised and where my Grandma Wilson still lives, and had a visit with her. After our wonderful visit we went down to Bountiful, UT. to watch the 24th of July Parade, hang out in the Millcreek Canyon, and spent a lot of time with my family. We had a blast and hope to do it again very soon. Check out our slide show...

Little Miss Dress UP!!!

Avery is very much a girl, she loves to change clothes all the time, she likes to pick what she wants! I can't even keep up with how many times she is dressing and undressing!!! hehe, but don't under estimate her, she is very much a tomboy too, just like her mother, she can get down and dirty, but also likes to look pretty doing it! LOL!!! Not only does she like to dress up, wear shoes and get her nails painted, she loves to shop also, so it looks like I got my shopping buddy, since the boys HATE to shop!

Avery in my Cowboy Hat, Black Heels, and just a t-shirt that explains her ALL THE WAY!!!
Avery in a very girly outfit, black pants, pink tutu, Green butterfly shirt with a crown!

Memorial Day Weekend

"SURPRISE" we went to Califorina last minute. We have a good friend (Todd) whose a car dealer, that needed to take a boat to Sacramento for the boat auction, so instead of just him going, we all decided to go, so we all piled into two vehicles and decided to wing it to and in California. Some of the many things we did are; we stopped in Reno overnight and stayed at Boomtown Hotel/Casino/Shops/Playland for the kids, that was a blast. Then we woke up the next morning and dropped the boat of in Sacramento and then off we went to the Big Redwoods and Santa Cruz, that was fun to see the kids enjoy the ocean and the beautiful BIG trees. We decided to stay in Fairfield, CA, so we drove back to the hotel in Fairfield and crashed in our beds that night, next morning we rode a ferry from Vallejo to San Francisco and WALKED the whole day, (by the way this is Tridon's Birthday), we crashed this night also! The next day I think was the funnest for the kids, we went to Six Flags in Vallejo, this park was like Sea World, the Zoo, and the Amusement Park all rolled up into one, it was a blast. We again crashed this night also. On the 1st of June we drove 10 plus hours from Fairfield, CA to Nampa, ID, wow that was a long drive. Considering how long we drove and much we walked the kids did great and we plan on doing this again, we hope super soon. Check out the slide show below!

Case's Preschool Graduation

WOW, I can't believe my little man is done with Preschool. It is soooo weird for me to think that he will be going to the big boy school with his brothers. I am soooo excited for him, he is growing up so fast, it's such a bitter sweet moment for a mother. You are so excited for them to accomplish something, but so sad that they are growing up so fast. Good Job Case and we are proud of you! XOXO from Mommy and Daddy!

My Silly Little Wii Man!!!

Well to explain the title, I have decided that Case's new nickname from his mommy is "Wii Man" for 2 reasons, 1-because he is little for his age, 2-he LOVES the Wii! He is sooooo funny. I snapped 2 funny photos of him just yesterday, the 1st one is him "doing" his homework. I set him up to the table to do his homework, and next thing I know he passed out, drooling on his homework. 2nd he came out of his room after getting dressed from his bath with underwear on his had. What a silly boy, I love him soooo much and he is such a joy to have in our family. He may be small, but he sure makes a great big wonderful impact on our family.

Case Learning to ride his bike...

Case will be 5 in July, so we think it's about that time for him to try and ride his bike without his training wheels. Glenn took his training wheels off, and off they went. He is still learning, but I thought I would share some of the learning experience.
Of Course we put on the helmet, and we definitely needed it!!! hehe

Daddy with Case

OWWW, and we fell, but he got right back on and tried again.

We will continue to keep trying and I don't doubt it will take one to two more times for him to get it.

Little Best Friends

Avery has a cousin named Jeremy , she is one month younger and they seem to get along very well. It is soooo cute when they play and get along. Here is a cute picture of them.

Dallas' 7th Birthday

This year for Dallas' Birthday we made it a weekend event due to the fact that his Birthday is hard to celebrate with it being on Sunday the Sabbath Day. So on Friday the 14th his Grandparents from Utah surprised him by coming up for a visit for the weekend, then at 1:30 6 of his friends from church showed up and he had a fun birthday party full of games, a pinata, cupcakes, and presents. He had a blast. Then that night we went to TGI Friday's for dinner, with Grandpa Wilson and Grandma Ann. Saturday we woke up got ready for the day and then went to the Zoo, had a BBQ with family that night and getting lots of good gifts, then on Sunday we gave him his 2 last gifts, went to Church, then went to our friends Todd and Angies for a Dinner they fixed for us. When we got home we were surprised to see that the "Birthday Elf" (Aunt Christy with helpers) decorated our house for Dallas' Birthday, he loved it and thought it was cool that they did that for just HIM!!! We love you Dallas and hope you have had a great 7 years with us and will continue to love being with us, and being you. You are a wonderful child and we are glad that you joined our family! We love you!!! Love- Mommy, Daddy, Tridon, Case, and Avery!!! (Enjoy the Slide Show Below)

Tridon's 1st Pinewood Derby!

Tridon had his first pinewood derby on May 6th, 2010. He was soooo excited about this part of scouts and has been for a long time. Glenn and Tridon made a really awesome car, it turned out was neat. Tridon did as much work on it as he could, and Glenn did the parts that he would have a hard time with. Glenn cut it out, and shaped it, then Tridon sanded it, they both spray painted it yellow, and then taped it up for the stripe and then helped Tridon with the black spray paint, then they put the wheels on an also added the "weight", then the final detailing the asked Me for that, so I got to work and put the number the lights, licence plate, and the window color, plus added bumpers. We never thought that it would do soooo well. We are all super proud of his car, are we are excited for the next year.

The Boys First Wrestling Matches

Before I wrote that we put the boys in Wrestling, well last night was their first matches. They got to wrestle 3 times each, and were paired up with kids that were their age and weight. They all did really well. Tridon didn't surprise us on how well he did, he pinned all 3 of his guys and he is very FAST and very FURIOUS. He is a squirmier and get out of just about anything. He was having so much fun that he was having a hard time waiting tell his next match. Dallas on the other hand didn't have such a great night. Glenn and I think that he still doesn't get the concept of how to do it, plus he is just to nice, he didn't want to hurt anyone so he didn't wrestle as well as he does with his brothers. He won one and lost two, so he was sad, but we are still very proud of him for trying. He told us that he didn't want to do it anymore, but I told him that he had to finish out the season, and then if he didn't want to do it next year he didn't have too. Case SURPRISED us. He did so well and loved every minute of the actually wrestling. He has new nickname, he now called "Leech", I know it's not very flattering, but that is what he looked like. He wouldn't let go at all, he even did a summer sault with a kid, Case was laying on this kids back, and the kid flipped and did a summer sault and Case went with him, and still ended up on top some how. I was told later that Case's cousin Scott told him to get a hold of the kid and not to let go no matter what, well Case listened and did what he was told.
We are soooo proud of all 3 of the boys. They all tried their hardest and did great. Check out their pictures below! If you would like to come, please do. I have the schedule in the next post down.
