Halloween 2010

Wow what an October... we have had a super duper busy month full of season ending sports, and of course Halloween fun! We did so much things for Halloween this year which included Trick or Treating 4 times, yes that's right I said 4 times!!! We went to our ward Trunk of Treat on Thursday, then I decided to take them to the downtown Nampa Trick or Treating Friday after school, that's were Avery got her picture taken for the paper, then our Subdivision was suppose to trick or treat on Sat, so we went out on the Saturday, and got doors slammed on my daughters face, I was sooooo mad, so we decided that we would go to a few house on Sunday evening! Other then all the Trick or Treating, we carved pumpkins, and went to the Haunted Woods with ALL of the kids!!! That's right I said ALL OF THE KIDS, and it was a blast, I was a little scared at first about taking Avery and Case, but they did better then Dallas and Tridon, LOL!!! Avery and Case would nervously say Hi and Bye to all of the "monsters". Also, the employees were really good with the kids, and didn't get up in their faces and scare them, they would show and make sure that the kids knew they were real people like them, it was really nice of them, over all a great and fun experience that will be remembered for a long time! When looking at the pictures below you may wonder what and why the kids are so many different things for Halloween, well last year after Halloween I went to Wal-Mart and got their clearance costumes for a dollar, so I didn't spend one thing on their costumes this year, but a couple of the kids got to be at least 2 different things... Tridon was my easiest - he was a Football player, it was easy we already had his stuff (we did need to borrow some pads, because he had to turn his in at the end of season), but all in all it was easy and done. Dallas wanted to be Bumblebee off of Transformers, and Case wanted to me Optimist Prime, and I already had those costumes from the clearance sale from last year, but with that sale I got a pirate and skeleton costumes too, so Dallas was not only Bumblebee he was a pirate also, and Case was Optimist, Skeleton, and a Pirate, and my dear sweet Avery was a Pirate for 2 nights and then she wore her Witch costume that Aunt Christy bought her at a yard sale for a dollar. So we had easy, cheap and fun costumes this year, and the kids thought it was cool to be more then one thing! We hope that you all had a blast this Halloween and will have fun rest of the year!
